a. Ethia – Maridaki – Tsoutsouras

Sunday 1st June 2025

Our hike begins from the picturesque village of Ethia (750 m) in the Asterousia Mountains. We descend along a dirt road and trail with breathtaking views of the southern coastline and the Libyan Sea. We pass through the steep haunts of bearded vultures soaring overhead, walk near the Kakoperato Gorge, pass by the palm forest of Agios Nikitas, and reach the beach. After visiting the Monastery, we continue toward Maridaki and follow the coastal trail until we reach Tsoutsouras.
