An easy, short hike crossing the Myli Gorge, a green oasis not far from the town of Rethymnon. First, we visit the War Museum in the village of Chromonastiri. Then we enter the gorge. We pass the old, deserted village of Myli, the ruins of about thirty old watermills and the renovated ones. Our hike ends in Xiro village.

This hike is suitable for beginners in mountaineering and children accompanied by their parents.

Our day ends with a swim at a nearby beach.
