A hike at the Cretan fjords!

From Gouverneto Monastery we follow down a stone-built trail past Arkoudiotissa Cave and Katholiko Monastery. Reaching the shore we come across the first fjord, Avlaki, where old ruins of the Monastery can be seen just beside the blue-green waters.

We continue our hike along the seashore until we reach the other fjord, Seitan Limania, where we have time to swim in the crystal clear turquoise waters.
