a. Kato Chorio – Katalymata – Koufoto – Monastiraki

A beautiful hike across the narrowest part of Crete.

Starting our hike from Kato Chorio, Ierapetra, at 109m a.s.l., we go up the hill to the chapel of Prophet Elias and the ridge of Mt Katalymata, at 850m, which is quite interesting archaeologically.

Then, after hiking along the so-called Selimas Way, we go up Mt Koufoto, at 912m.

On the way back we follow the E4 trail from Agia Anna to the ending of Ha gorge, at 140m.

All participants must be quite fit.
