The Trail Of Moussouri

A hike along a traditional trail on Crete that used to unite villages on the mountainous areas of Selino and Kydonia in western Crete. It has been in dozens of traditional songs and stories. It is paved and more or less quite well preserved, although rather neglected at some parts.

We start from the beautiful village of Karanou and end in a place called Poroselia, on the road from Omalos to Sougia.

There is no major altitude difference along the way. This hike is organised by our Club for the first time.
