Mathia – Mikros Afentis

A hike up to Mikros Afentis peak on Dikti Mountains.

We set off from the village of Mathia at 560m a.s.l. with its beautiful byzantine churches and we walk along a wooded but steep upwards trail. The landscape changes constantly on our way​​. We reach the top, Mikros Afentis, at 1587m.​, where we can admire the magnificent view.

We take a different trail on our return. We end up in the picturesque village of Mathia again.
