Mt Pombias, Agia Pelagia
Sunday, February 11th, 2024
A beautiful hike in the area of Agia Pelagia near Heraklion, which offers panoramic views.
Starting from the National Road, at 175m a.s.l. we hike up Pombias Hill, at 420m, admiring the vultures flying in circles over our heads. We cross the hill passing past some old Turkish fortresses and we go down to the wild and beautiful Cape Stavros. Then following a trail along the coast, we end at a point near Agia Pelagia.
