Mt Psiloritis

An ascent onto the highest peak on Crete, free for the members of the Club, dedicated to the memory of the late Eleni Anathreptaki.
We start our hike from Lakkos Mygerou, at 1450m a.s.l. and following the trail locally known as Psiloritis Road we reach the peak of Timios Stavros, at 2453m. We enjoy the panoramic view all over the island and we return down to Lakkos Mygerou.
If there is enough time, our hike will be combined with a swim at a nearby beach.
