b. Stalida – Mochos – Malia

Our hike starts from Stalida and follows the so-called Bulgarian trail, built in the early 20th century by Bulgarian war prisoners. We have a short stop at the Axion Esti Monastery and then we reach the village of Mochos, at 400m a.s.l. After browsing around the village for a while we start our hike down along the old, mainly stone-built, trail until we reach Malia area. The view to the northern shore is great during our descent.
