Sunday, December 3rd, 207
We start our hike from Stroumboulas plateau, at 450m a.s.l. and following a clear path we go up to the small chapel on top, at 800m, which offers a fascinating view over Heraklion bay. Then we go down the nortern side until the settlement of Doxa, at 470m, where we visit the small but impressive cave.
We continue along a dirt road until the entrance of Almyros Gorge, a beautiful natural habitat very close to the city. Our hike ends on the road near Linoperamata.
